If you consider 'experience' and 'congruency' to be important factors when selecting a business coach, then having a discussion with Leach, is an obvious priority. Like many small business owners, Leach wasn’t born with a ‘silver spoon in his mouth; he wasn’t the ‘smart’ or ‘popular’ kid at school; & he didn’t have a clear vision, or some higher purpose, to impact mankind at a young age! What Leach DID have, was a solid work ethic; pride in the quality of his work; and an outstanding aptitude for getting the best out of any situation. When operational injuries took their toll on his initial military career, Leach adapted, becoming a photojournalist, then being headhunted a number of times, for more and more senior positions over several years.

In 1997, Leach owned a consulting company and was contracted as a Senior Queensland Government Advisor, when he came across Brad Sugars, who’d founded ActionCOACH (then Action International), only a couple of years before. Leach was inspired by Brad’s vision of ‘World Abundance Through Business Re-education’ and joined the half-dozen-strong team as a ‘business coach.

Meet Steve Leach, a seasoned Business Coach based in Greater Brisbane with over 28 years of experience in the industry. Inspired by Brad Sugars, Steve embarked on his journey to become a pioneer in the Business Coaching Profession back in 1997. His expertise lies in providing 1:1 Coaching, implementing Memberships, conducting DiSC Assessments, delivering Leadership Training, and offering Executive Coaching. Additionally, Steve is a sought-after Keynote Speaker.

Steve's professional background is diverse, beginning with an early career as a soldier, where he honed his leadership skills in various management positions. However, his true passion and dedication shine through in his almost three decades as a Business Coach.

His clientele consists mainly of entrepreneurs who have successfully started, built, and are currently running their businesses. Steve excels in helping these individuals navigate the challenges of their routines, reignite their passion, and explore what comes next in their entrepreneurial journey. His goal is to assist them in feeling fulfilled, excited, and equipped with more options for their personal and professional lives.

Beyond his coaching endeavors, Steve shares a glimpse into his personal interests and hobbies. He has a profound love for collecting art, artifacts, and antiquities from his global travels with his wife and children. Steve also enjoys hands-on activities such as building renovations, working on vehicles, and tinkering with gadgetry.

A fascinating aspect of Steve's life is his involvement in practical pistol shooting, where he competes at State, National, and International levels. This competitive spirit reflects his commitment to excellence not only in business but also in his personal pursuits.

Steve's remarkable achievements include being the first inductee into the Global Hall of Fame in 2007, the Founder's Club in 2017, and achieving the prestigious title of Global Master Coach multiple times. In 2022, he was recognized for achieving the Global Highest Client Retention award and received the Global Coaches' Choice Award, showcasing his outstanding contributions and impact in the coaching community.
