Are you feeling a little frustrated in your career and not experiencing the joy or satisfaction you once derived from working? Why not make a complete career change that will not only give you the fulfillment you desire but also empower you to help others reach their goals and dreams?

Here are 5 reasons to help you decide if business coaching is right for you:

1. Have you reached the proverbial glass ceiling in your career?

If you’ve experienced a successful and fulfilling career and achieved the many goals you initially set out to reach but for some reason feel that you can make a difference elsewhere, then perhaps the time has come to leave your comfort zone and start focusing your energy on helping others by sharing your business knowledge to guide them within their businesses.

2. No money in the world can offer fulfillment

Perhaps you earn more now than ever before, however your career is not giving you any gratification nor do you experience the thrill of achievement any longer. Well, if money is not your driver, but rather the personal value and satisfaction you get from helping others, then there has never been a better time to make a change. Business coaching can be a lucrative career; however, the personal worth it offers and the tremendous impact you can make on someone else, definitely trumps being unhappy, unsatisfied and undervalued.

3. Is your job title limiting your personal worth?

In some instances, workplaces are defined by job titles forcing employees to stay within specific departments. This can slow down productivity but most of all creativity and personal growth. If you feel boxed in by your role and specific list of responsibilities, however you know you are capable of so much more and have a lot of knowledge and skill to share within a variety of business departments, then you should strongly consider making a change.

4. Do your colleagues and friends seek your mentorship?

Are you the person at work colleagues turn to when they require guidance for specific business decisions or direction when they are uncertain or insecure with their own abilities? Do you advise friends or family members with regards to their finances or business planning decisions? If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, then without the official title, you are already coaching and guiding people who seek your advice and knowledge. Without realizing it, you are a natural leader and will most likely be a great business mentor.

5. You have been thinking about doing your own thing for a while

Perhaps the idea of working for yourself has crossed your mind a few times - especially because you enjoy flexible working hours while putting extra time in when it matters. You might be a person who work optimally or get inspired at various times of the day which does not necessarily fall within working hours. Perhaps you work best in specific environments such as nature or when surrounded by people and energy. Whatever the reason might be, if you are a person who thrives working according to your own hours, then business coaching can be the type of career you will absolutely love.
